A dynamic character changes during the course of a story as a result of the events which occur. Name one character in your book who would be considered a dynamic character. How does this character change?

                   "JUST ONCE"

To me a charector in this book that is a dynamic charector is moose. Moose wants to carry the ball just once. At the beginning of the book moose is just a high school kid who plays football and is maybe a little big for his age. He is an offensive lineman and if anyone knows anything about football linemen arent known for there ball carring there known for they blocking. Moose just wants one chance to carry the ball. The whole year he asks the coach if he can carry the ball just once. The coach finally lets him and what moose had looked forward to all year he finally gets. When he carries the ball he gets scared and turns and runs the other way. BUT on the one time moose gets to carry the ball he gets to score a touchdown. Moose goes to the sideline and tells the coach NEVER AGAIN. Moose never did want to carry the ball after that.

Sports Short Stories

1. A protagonist is the main character. Who is the protagonist of your book? Describe him/her.
In my book the main character is a piano player. It doesn’t give his name. This kid everyday has to play the piano for an hour. During this hour a high school cross-country runner runs by. The kid playing the piano sees him and takes interest in cross-country. After awhile the piano playing kid decides he wants to run with the kid and next school year run cross-country. Then the day of the state championships for cross country the high school kid realizes how much this kid worked just to stay in shape to work for something he wanted. The runner went out and ran one of the best races he could for that kid.

Jakes Blog #9

In my book the main character is a kid by the name of Andy. In the beginning it seems to me that Andy is a very nice kid and gets along with just about anyone. Towards the end of the book when he's thinking about the whole situation when Rob got killed in the car accident while Andy was driving changes him and puts him in depression. Depression took over Andys life and he couldn't take it anymore and after about months committed suicide. Andys personality changes over the whole book. After the death of Rob he just wasn't the same person and couldn't forget the tragic thing that happened to his friend. The depression was too much for Andy and he committed suicide.
The novel Tears of a Tiger is about a kids struggle with the death of his best friend. Its about how he deals with the whole situation and how depression takes over his life. Andy made the mistake of keeping it inside and not letting anyone help him. People were willing to help Andy but he hid his real feelings and got away with it because people believe he was alright.
The story takes place in the lockerroom of the school after a basketball game. The setting is where the book takes place. It adds to the novel by setting up what's gone happen. In the novel there planning the whole night. What there gone do, When there gone do it, Where there going to be and everything. The location relates to the characters by them being in basketball and after the game that they won having fun in the lockerroom and planning there whole night. I'm not sure what time period or era.
In my book the climax is when Rob dies. Andy feels so bad that it happened and that he was driving. He feels like he was the one that killed Rob and doesn't know how to handle it. Everyone around Andy wants him to feel better and not to worry about it but Andy cant hide his feeling. The death is way to much for Andy to handle. I think Andy needs help but doesn't think he needs help himself.
I think the author wrote this story because he feels that teen depression needs to be cured and people need to help other people with ways to handle it other than the way Andy did. Andy handled it the wrong way when he committed suicide. The point is that people need to realize when there friends are depressed and thinking about doing something that could hurt themselves or people around them.

Blog 7

The conflict in the book I think is a high school kid that is going through a very tough time and people want to help him but he doesnt think he needs it or he wants to deal with it on his own. It tells me that it was a bad accident and Robert will be missed.
I think this is a good paragraph because it sets up the story and tells what happens during the story. Its a great story i think its a great way to being the story.
Page: 1
QUOTE 2
The bus? Good grief, he may never get here! All right, let's go over the game plan. This is a big one for us, and I know it's our first home game since..... We lost Robbie, so its going to be difficult for all of us- especially Andy. Let's see if we can give him as much support out there as we can- assuming he gets here. The bus! I could have picked him up if he had called me.
This sentance is important because it tells how Andy feels about the whole thing with Robbie dieing and how he is dealing with it. I think it tells me that he still feels terrible about the whole accident and wants to forget it and is dealing with it in hgis own way.
page: 35

Jakes 4th bog

~Jakes 3rd Blog~

In the 3rd reading day i read pages from 25-54. My book is turning out to be a great book i am very interested in it. An interesting charactor in my book is Andy. I think he is very interesting with the whole way he handles the situation the way he has. The author tells us that Andy is lieing to his doctor and everyone so it seems like hes okay and everyone will leave him alone. I dont think he is okay because he probably still feels terrible about it and he feels like it was all his fault because he was the one driving and he was the one drinking and everything.

Jakes 2nd Blog

In my book for the second reading day i read alot of pages i think about probably 25. The author of my book is Sharon M. Draper. In my book there are 180 pages. In my book the publisher is children's Publishing Division. It was copyrighted in 1994. I selected this book because Mrs. Schulz told me it was a good book for me to read. I get the idea that something will happen in the book that is really sad and the kid in the book has to deal with a depressing situation.
